The conference planning committee meets at each conference to plan for future conferences and review the just completed conference.  In addition, I have meetings on a regular basis with the staff at our two conference centers to plan for the next conference and make improvments for future conferences.

I did have a planning meeting in Lansing today with the Radisson Staff to go over concerns and suggestions for future conferences.  I also reviewed with them the progress and status of the renovations to the hotel and conference center.  Three floors of the hotel have completed the remodling phase and 3 additional floors will be completed this summer before our fall conference.  Next summer the remaining 3 floors will be completed.  So by our fall 2011 conference, the project should be complete.

I will be having a meeting with the staff at the Grand Traverse Resort sometime in the next two weeks in preparation for our spring conference.  I will keep you informed on information from that meeting.
